Beaphar UK is once again highlighting the importance of ‘worm awareness’, with this year’s consumer campaign focusing on how easy it is for cat and dog owners to get effective worming treatments from their pet shop.
And to make it even easier, the company is also including a money-off voucher for Beaphar WORMclear in a leading consumer dog magazine for owners to redeem in-store.
“Worms can cause serious health problems to both pets and people, but fortunately this is easy to avoid so long as pet-owners follow a regular worming routine,” a spokesman said. “Many pet-owners believe that the only place to get an effective wormer is from their vet, when in fact they are available over the counter from pet retailers.
“Beaphar’s point-of-sale and online activity is all based around highlighting to owners that worming their pet doesn’t need to be a difficult or time-consuming task. By increasing their knowledge about worming and the worming products available, we can drive them into pet shops, thus increasing sales for retailers.
