Plant-based dog food company The Pack has struck a deal with a number of restaurants and cafes to serve its products to dogs dining with their owners.
Throughout the month of January participating restaurants will offer customers dining with their dogs free sample portions of ‘Dogs Dinner Done Right’ vegan meals as part of a special doggie menu. Customers will also be given a free can of The Pack wet food to take home.
The offer is running at London restaurants Biff’s Kitchen@Brewdog, WAVE, Mother and Barkney Wick, plus Vurger (Brighton), Erpingham House (Norwich) and Purezza (London, Hove and Manchester).
The Pack predicts 50% of dogs in the UK will be flexitarian by 2030, eating mainly vegetarian and vegan food with the occasional meat treat.
Co-founder Judy Nadel commented: “Any pet parent can tell you how frustrating it can be finding dog friendly restaurants. So The Pack is delighted to be working with pioneering cafes and restaurants up and down the country who are enabling dogs and their parents to enjoy eating their food together – and knowing they’re reducing their carbon footprint and pawprint with every bite!”
