Czech brand Fitmin, which makes feed, nutritional supplements and ‘natural delicacies’ for dogs, cats and horses, is looking for a distributor with a proven track record and a ‘true love of pets’ to offer its products in the UK.
“We are particularly proud of our unique technology for adding high quality fresh meat to the feed production process,” said export manager Rob Collier.
“Fitmin was the first brand in the Czech Republic and one of the first in Europe to make pet granules from fresh raw meat. And this isn’t just any meat – we use the same high-quality meat used in the food-processing industry. This brings feed with excellent flavour, appreciated even by the fussiest animals.
“Nutrients retain their high quality and are not destroyed by high temperatures, as when the meat is first processed into meal and only then into granules.”
QUALITY
The Fitmin brand (www.fitmin.com) sells not only in the Czech Republic, but also in numerous other countries in Europe, in Russia, Turkey, the Middle East and Vietnam.
Its products are made in accordance with the ISO 9001:2008 quality standard and since 2012 the manufacturer has used the HACCP system and are under constant supervision of the inspection authorities of the Czech Republic and the EU.
Rob said: “An integral part of the Fitmin team is also our dogs and the people who take care of them in our Fitmin kennel, established in 2002. Here we breed border collies and also naturally test how successful our products are with fully active dogs.
“Our dogs compete in agility, take tests in sheep herding and, last but not least, are used to provide canine therapeutic care. Their condition, a healthy way of life and the happiness bring us joy and serve as proof that we’re doing our job well.”
