Josera showcases its latest pet food ranges, which are available exclusively to independents, at PATS Sandown.
The German brand manufactures ‘superior quality, environmentally sustainable and socially responsible’ foods for pets, cats, dogs and horses as well as agricultural feeds for farm animals.
The new Hypoallergenic range for dogs uses only insect protein and comes in 4.5kg and 15kg bags, while Naturecat is a DLG-certified cat food available in 4.25kg and 15kg bags. Both ranges have grain-free recipes.
Simon Freear, from Pet Footprint, which supplies Josera in the UK, said: “Consumers are really starting to ask questions about sustainability, so we are looking forward to talking to our retailers and new customers about the remarkable eco-credentials of the new Hypoallergenic range.
“Insect protein is much more sustainable than livestock protein and our production is already carbon neutral. Operations and logistics will be carbon neutral this year – it’s a strong package for retailers who want to offer their customers exceptional food with a tangible eco story.”
