A farmer was left shocked after his goat gave birth to a ‘half-pig, half-human’ creature.
Josephine Repique, 40, said the goat had to have her two kids removed by caesarean section at his farm in the Philippines, reported the Mirror Online.
The two hairless infants and the mother all died soon after, sparking fears that it was a cursed ‘mutant devil’.
Dr Agapita Salces, of the Institute of Animal Science at the University of the Philippines, said: “It is a possible case of genetic mutation. It is also possible that the mother contracted a disease called Rift Valley fever from mosquito bites and this caused the impaired development of the infant.”
