A moggy has been appointed a railway station’s official chief mouse catcher.
George, a cat from Stourbridge, in the West Midlands, landed the job at the Stourbridge Junction Station after three years volunteering his services.
According to the Daily Mail, George even has his own Twitter account and is followed by people from around the world. He will be reporting for duty at the station as an employee – and will be rewarded with a competitive salary of treats, food and cuddles.
