Treat manufacturer The Innocent Pet has added to its growing team with the appointment of sales executive Ben Ragg.
Ben has been welcomed into the role, in which he will oversee sales and account management for stockists of the Innocent brand.
Managing director Chloe Heaton said: “As demand for our products continues to grow, the addition of Ben to our team enables us to offer our specialist trade customers dedicated and tailored support.”
Ben, a keen golfer, enjoys the country life with his working cocker spaniel, Eddy, who, Ben says, has helped him to understand both sides of the pet industry – from a company perspective and also as a dog owner.
“I’m excited to be joining a business that’s making big steps in the pet world,” he said. “I really believe that what we choose to feed our pets matters and Eddy has definitely enjoyed me being part of a new team that makes treats as good as these. Venison sausages are the winner in our house.”
The Innocent Pet specialises in producing air-dried food and treats for dogs and cats. It is a family-run business, based in Thorp Arch, West Yorkshire.
