The British College of Veterinary Specialists has launched a new website to help inform and guide animal owners.
www.yourvetspecialist.org aims to make it easier to understand what a veterinary specialist is and become confident with the process of referral and offers the resources to search for a veterinary specialist by location and specialism.
BCVSp trustee Celia Marr said: “There are many hundreds of specialists working at the forefront of veterinary care and also those working in research, pathology and academia, helping to advance animal health and welfare every day. We believe our new website should help to spread the word and make referral more understandable and accessible.”
