Jollyes has begun staff recruitment for its latest store in Scotland.
The new store, at Unit 3 Burghmuir Retail Park in Stirling, will open in mid-June and employ 12 colleagues.
Jollyes has recruited Angela Rennie as store manager. As well as store experience at Home Bargains, Marks & Spencer and Tesco, Angela has hands-on experience with pets as “dog mum” to husky-collie cross Blue and border collie Mollie.
In addition to a wide range of pet food and accessories, the 6,100sq ft Stirling store will sell small pets and birds and feature Jollyes’ dedicated dog grooming salon, The Spa. The company is particularly interested in applications from experienced groomers.
Jollyes has more than 70 stores across the UK and Stirling will be its third store in Scotland, complementing outlets in Clydebank and Perth. Further new stores are due to open this summer at Glenrothes and Edinburgh.
Jollyes regional manager Kerry Midgley said: “It’s an exciting time for Jollyes as we expand in Scotland and we can’t wait to open our doors in Stirling, taking our place in the community and playing our part in the local economy.”
