Private label pet food manufacturer GA Pet Food Partners has been given a major business award.
The company won the Large Business Award at the Red Rose Awards event, which celebrates business and commerce in Lancashire. The presentation was made at the Blackpool Winter Gardens on June 9, in front of an audience of 1,000 guests.
GA has seen significant growth in sales in the past 12 months, exporting to more that 50 countries worldwide and making significant investment in facilities, machinery and processes. The company has also made a commitment to work with the local community in its home town of Chorley to achieve Net Zero status by 2050.
GA Pet Food Partners chairman Roger Bracewell said: “The whole of the GA family is delighted and honoured to receive this Large Business Award. This award recognises the hard work and dedication of all at GA from a small family farm 30 years ago to a £140 million turnover company, 44% of which is exported.”
