Fold Hill Foods has announced the death of one of its owners, James Grant.
Managing director Ben Mankertz paid tribute by saying: “James was passionate about our business and about the countryside he farmed, sharing his knowledge and enthusiasm with employees as well as those within our industry for more than 40 years.
“He was a colourful character who will be greatly missed.”
Fold Hill expressed deepest sympathies to all who knew him, and that their thoughts are with the Grant family at this time.
A memorial service will be held at Old Leake Church at 1pm on December 12 for anyone who knew James and would like to pay their respects. The funeral itself will be a private affair for family and close friends.
