Appointment management provider Tuft has released a free version of its software to encourage wider adoption in the pet services industry.
The freemium model allows businesses to use Tuft’s calendar to streamline scheduling and appointments for services such as dog grooming without any extra cost. Businesses can sign up for the free ‘Essential’ level software, which facilitates online and app appointments, digital reminders, and enables salons to take deposits, via the Tuft website, or upgrade to premium and multi-site versions for a monthly charge.
The initiative has been introduced as part of Tuft’s new “Software as a Standard” campaign, which is intended to be a call for action for the entire pet services industry to make greater use of technology and to view it as an essential tool for all businesses striving to provide the best care for pets while enjoying a better work/life balance. Tuft prides itself on presenting a user-friendly Interface that businesspeople with limited technical expertise can use to harness the full potential of the software.
Tuft ceo Chloe Smith said: “Every pet service, regardless of its scale, should have access to the tools needed for success. Software should be a standard practice, not an exclusive privilege.”
