Vet’s Kitchen has announced that its dog and cat treats – Little Stars and Little Hearts – are to be discontinued.
The company cites issues with its manufacturer, which no longer wishes to produce the products.
A company statement reads: “Despite our efforts to secure an alternative manufacturer that meets our recipe standards and maintains the quality you’ve come to expect, we have faced insurmountable difficulties.
“This decision was not made lightly and unfortunately, circumstances beyond our control have led us to this point.”
Limited stock of the Active Salmon Little Stars and Sensitive Pork Little Stars is still available on the company’s website, but once depleted, they will no longer be offered, the company added.
