Recruitment firm The Animal People has set a new target for fundraising in support of Birmingham Dog’s Home.
The company recently passed the £14,000 mark in donations to Birmingham Dog’s Home since it was launched in 2021, and for the next fundraising venture is organising a team challenge to climb Snowdon (Yr Wyddf) in June. The challenge is open to donations from supporters.
Founder and managing director Chris Whatling said: “I knew from the moment that I decided to create my own company I would help Birmingham Dog’s Home. I once volunteered at the centre and saw first-hand how much they rely on charitable donations. That’s why we donate every single time we place one of our candidates into a role within animal-related industries.
“The work that the people of Birmingham Dog’s Home do is so important, and as a company of dog lovers, it feels amazing to know that we are making a difference to the lives of dogs in need by simply doing our jobs.”
