Organisers of last month’s Natural Dog Expo are hailing a breakthrough event as interest in alternative healthcare solutions continues to grow.
Hosted by behaviour and nutrition expert Anna Webb, the second Expo doubled its capacity compared to the first event a year ago. During the event, more than 300 delegates heard from veterinary leaders on topical issues such as species-appropriate nutrition, the latest science on the canine microbiome and the importance of preventative principles.
Pet Industry nutrition consultant Caroline Griffith organised the Expo. She said: “I believe it’s now vital we optimise natural veterinary health and I am thrilled that the second Natural Dog Expo exceeded expectations, setting a precedent for pet guardians and healthcare professionals alike.”
The event was co-sponsored by Mersey Raw and Leucillin.
Mersey Raw’s, managing director Ben McIntyre added: “It was so rewarding to meet a packed room full of delegates either already tuned into feeding raw, or eager to begin a switch over using Mersey.
“The feedback from the Expo has been terrific, proof that our raw balanced and complete formulas are making a positive contribution to dogs nationwide.”
Organisers have confirmed that the Expo will return on Sunday April 27, 2025.
