Retailers are being urged to download free resource packs to help them get behind Rabbit Awareness Week (RAW) later this month.
Packs contain a variety of resources that can be used in-store, such as posters, care guides and bunting.
The theme of this year’s event is ‘Healthy Diet, Happy Bunnies’, with a focus on the importance of a healthy, hay-based diet rather than other alternatives.
RAW, which takes place from June 24-28, is organised by Burgess Pet Care and supported by charities such as RSPCA, Rabbit Welfare Association & Fund, Woodgreen Pets Charity, Blue Cross and Raystede. Activity takes place online over on the RAW social channels, Facebook and Instagram.
Dr Suzanne Moyes, deputy managing director and in-house vet at Burgess Pet Care, said: “Retailers can get involved in Rabbit Awareness Week by downloading a free RAW pack full of great resources, including care guides, posters, bunting and more, to help them get involved in this important initiative dedicated to the proper care of rabbits.”
