A sister company to the Butternut Box brand has launched a new subscription service offering home-delivered fresh food for cats.
Marro offers cat owners steam-cooked recipes featuring a variety of protein sources, including beef, chicken, pork, turkey and fish, in a hydrating gravy. Meals are supplied frozen in single-serve pouches.
Managing director Charlie Kelly said: “Launching Marro is something we’ve dreamt of for a long time – because as a company we felt passionately that cats and their owners deserved better.
“We already knew how powerful the health benefits of fresh can be and what we soon discovered was how much cats adore the taste too. This is a win-win, as any cat lover will tell you that our feline friends can be notoriously fussy. To make sure every recipe is up to scratch we went through rigorous rounds of taste-testing with both humans and cats.”
