Online advice service The Dog Nutritionist has launched its first dog treat and is making the product available to retailers.
Venison Cubes Treat Boost is a natural treat for dogs made from 100% air-dried venison lung. With a protein content of around 76.8%, the low-fat treats contain omega-3 fatty acids, iron, and essential amino acids to support muscle health, tissue repair, and overall vitality, as well as being suitable for dogs that cannot tolerate chicken, beef, or pork. Products are suitable for dogs aged 12 weeks and older.
The Dog Nutritionist was founded in 2017 by Cam Wimble to helping owners make more informed choices and the new treats joined the existing range of multi-vitamin supplements, recipe book and personalised health plans supplied via the brand’s website.
Wimble said: “We know all owners want their dogs to live a happy, healthy life, and it’s shocking how many processed, unhealthy treats are given to dogs daily – often without owners realising the negative impact these have on their best mates.
“With our new Venison Cubes, we’re offering a nutritious option that tastes amazing while giving owners peace of mind knowing they’re treating their pups with pure, natural goodness.”
Venison Cubes Treat Boost sell for £7.99 on the company’s website.
