The Pet Industry Federation (PIF) has created a new Small Business Support membership tier, which aims to support both the business and the personal well-being of the business owner.
The programme includes a range of personal benefits, including 24-hour access to a telephone and online GP service, a counselling and mental health service, virtual physiotherapy and gym sessions, money and credit score advice and discounts on groceries, travel, and insurance.
The Small Business Support tier is initially only open to new members and is specifically aimed at businesses with a turnover of less that £250k. Existing members will be able to renew their membership onto the new tier later in 2025.
PIF chief executive Nigel Baker said: “Small businesses face unique challenges –juggling tight budgets, managing stress, and staying competitive in a fast-changing market. PIF’s Small Business Support membership tier is specifically designed for businesses with a turnover of under £250k, offering affordable, practical, and personalised support to make it easier for business owners to prioritise their personal health and financial well-being.
“A healthy business starts with a healthy owner, and we believe PIF membership has a role in assisting members’ overall well-being and business success.”
