Raw food supplier Mersey Raw has introduced new packaging for its range of raw minces.
The new tubs are made from polypropylene (PP5), a durable, lightweight, and food-safe material that ensures hygiene for raw pet food. The semi-transparent white packs allow customers to see the product inside as well as being more widely recyclable than the brand’s former black tubs. The new tubs are also stronger, leak-proof and more reliable, ensuring the food stays fresh and secure during transport and storage, says the company.
In addition, new colour-coded labels make it easier for customers to quickly identify different products, whether on shelves or in freezers. The labels also provide detailed information about the product composition and nutritional analysis and a QR code linking to more information about the brand and the benefits of raw feeding. The tubs are also designed to be stackable inside freezers.
Mersey Raw currently offers 20 varieties of meat, offal and bone minces including chicken, pork, lamb, beef, venison, turkey, rabbit, duck, tripe, goose and goat.
