Polypouch UK has secured a strategic partnership with Sihl Germany which will see the German firm’s range of premium packaging pouches produced in the UK.
Thanks to this partnership, printed pouches can now be produced in Hemel Hempstead, Hertfordshire, enhancing production efficiency and offering customers faster lead times of within 2-3 days if needed urgently.
The new collaboration combines Sihl’s expertise in materials with Polypouch’s manufacturing capabilities. Polypouch specialises in a wide range of pouch types, including printed and plain designs, spout pouches, and freezer-proof compostable pouches. The company’s eco-friendly packaging solutions include recyclable and compostable materials and can incorporate Post-Consumer Recycled (PCR) content.
Polypouch UK recently acquired key assets from Surepak Ltd from administration. This acquisition strengthens Polypouch’s position in the market and ensures a seamless transition for Surepak’s former customers.
