Premium pet food brand Carnilove has partnered with SAS leader and instructor Billy Billingham and his bulldog Alfie in a new campaign focusing on how dogs support mental health.
The ‘By Your Side’ campaign explores mental wellbeing and the value of having a dog by your side. In a series of short films shot in the Peak District and aired on Instagram, Facebook and YouTube, Billingham discusses how Alfie supports his mental health. He also meets two fellow veterans and their Bravehound assistance dogs on an adventure, where they discuss the companionship and support dogs provide, as well as the importance of nourishing them with the best food and care.
Carnilove UK first partnered with Billingham, described as TV’s most experienced, highest ranking and most decorated SAS leader and instructor, in 2023 to promote the benefits of exercising your dog in the wild.

Carnilove is made by Vafo and exclusively imported and distributed by BSB Products in the UK. Bravehound is a registered charity in Scotland, and provides assistance dogs to veterans who have a clinical diagnosis of a mental health condition such as Post Traumatic Stress Disorder, depression and anxiety.
