The Pet Industry Federation (PIF) has announced details of the speakers at this year’s Business of Pets Conference.
The programme is designed to help pet businesses of all sizes scale up, innovate, and thrive, covering funding and finance, the use of AI, consumer trends and customer acquisition.
Programme highlights from the two-day event include:
‘Attracting Customers First: Key Strategies for Pet Business Growth’. Featuring leaders from Naked Dog and Claire’s Comfy Canines, this panel explores how to build your brand, prove market demand, and grow sustainably.
Funding Your Pet Business: Exploring Accessible Finance Options is an expert panel session exploring practical funding options for pet businesses, including grants, loans, equity funding and debt finance.
Turbocharging Your Business Growth will see Cranfield University’s Martin Spiller delivers practical, high-impact strategies to help pet businesses scale, while Confessions of a Pet Entrepreneur promises to be an honest, inspiring conversation with Gemma Stocks, founder of Herbal Dog Co, about the highs and lows of growing a pet brand.
An additional session, AI & Tech: Transforming the Future of Pet Businesses, will feature executives using AI to personalise customer experiences and drive operational efficiency.
The conference will also feature a number of interactive workshops and presentations from the finalists in the PIF Innovation of the Year Award, as well as a networking barbecue.
The event takes place at Cranfield Management Development Centre on June 5-6 and tickets are on sale from the PIF website.
