Following from hobbyists and specialist dealers, JBL has launched the JBL ProClean Bac, a ‘ready-to-use, immediate-effect’ bacterial concentrate.
A spokesman said: “It works immediately during water changes and after filter cleaning, the use of medication and the adding of new fish, by breaking down ammonium/ammonia and nitrite. The whole thing will be available in a small, easy-to-open disposable bottle at an attractive price.”
The 50ml cartridge suits aquariums between 60 and 200 litres and comes in small counter displays of 24 cartridges.
