An aquatics shop owner found an unusual gift on his doorstep when he went to open up shop – a ‘giant’ catfish in a bucket.
Steven Chester told Cheshire Live that the fish must have grown too big for its previous owner’s aquarium.
“Luckily I “was in early,” he said. “Being a tropical fish and being early October it’s starting to cool down now so it could have ended up quite badly.”
