The Bluereef Aquarium in Cornwall says its reopening at the start of July went swimmingly – and even the fish were pleased to see people.
The aquarium in Newquay said the fish had been bored for the past 100 days and were as delighted as the staff to have something new to look at.
Full safety measures were in place for the reopening including hand sanitisers and full face masks for the staff.
Steve Machett, general manager, said: “Our small team has worked so hard to get the aquarium ready to re-open under testing circumstances and I couldn’t be more proud of them all.”
