BETA International is offering companion animal and equine SQPs the chance to gain valuable CPD points at its 2020 show, which runs from January 19 to 21 at the NEC, Birmingham.
The programme of seminars will take place at the event’s new Seminar Theatre over each of the three days.
Veterinary management consultant Jim Wishart will lead a module on companion animals titled ‘Gain the Edge on Worms, Fleas, Ticks & More’, as well as ‘Horse Worming for a Safer Environment’, for equine SQPs. Each is worth 10 CPD points.
Emma Farrell, NAF brand Natural VetCare’s vet and business development manager, will host Supplements for Senior Pets: New Tricks for Old Dogs & Cats (CPD points to be confirmed) and NAF senior nutritionist Kate Hore will present Understanding Supplement Labels, worth three CPD points.
“Our free seminars are absolutely integral to the show,” said BETA International organiser Claire Thomas. “They are produced with our audience in mind and play a key role in delivering extra value for our visitors, as well as supporting the industry in general.”
Other seminars, in addition to those for SQPs, will take place throughout the show. These will include saddle and bridle fitting, with Society of Master Saddlers members receiving three CPD points for visiting BETA International and one for every saddlery or fitting lecture they attend.
