Outdoor event series DogFest has been acquired by Stable Events Ltd.
Over the past 10 years, DogFest has grown under the ownership of Nicole Cooper from a single weekend event to seven festivals across the country, drawing tens of thousands of dog owners every year. The series of events features interactive activities, expert advice, dog agility courses, live demonstrations, educational talks, charity partnerships and shopping opportunities.
The new owners represent the team behind the events The Game Fair and the Agria Blenheim Palace International Horse Trials.
James Gower, managing director of Stable Events, said: “We are excited to welcome DogFest to the Stable Events family.
“It has built a loyal following and is established as a standout event for dog lovers. We look forward to enhancing this experience by incorporating our unique expertise and introducing new elements that will ensure DogFest remains the UK’s leading dog devotees festival.”
Cooper added: “I am proud of what we have created with the DogFest brand. It has continued to grow from strength to strength with the support from the biggest brands in the industry.
“I am delighted that DogFest will now be part of the Stable Events portfolio, enabling it to continue on its growth trajectory in a thriving market.”
DogFest 2025 dates and locations are yet to be announced, but the new owner promised “exciting new experiences, enhanced infrastructure and an expansion of the programme that will continue DogFest’s legacy while integrating fresh, innovative ideas”.
