The role of nutrition in the gut is the theme of this year’s Hill’s Global Symposium.
Dr Iveta Becvarova, director of global academic and professional affairs at Hill’s, said: “New research highlighting the power of the gut microbiome in influencing the body’s response to acute or chronic disease is advancing veterinary practice. The world-class experts we are bringing together for this year’s symposium will create an inspiring and immersive experience which is not to be missed by anyone with an interest in improving pet health through nutrition.”
The pet food company will also unveil its new Prescription Diet for dogs and cats during the event.
Hill’s Global Symposium: Harnessing the Power of the Gut Microbiome will be held in Toronto, Canada on July 14-15.
