LickiMat sponsored the Association of Pet Behaviour Counsellors (APBC) Annual Conference on Sunday (June 7).
The conference was held online for the first time due to coronavirus restrictions. The APBC is a UK-based international network of experienced and qualified pet behaviour counsellors who work on referral from veterinary surgeons.
The annual conference is aimed at behaviour and training professionals and vet professionals and generally attracts 300-400 delegates.
There was a full day of speakers covering the human psychology behind some animal behaviour issues, puppy development and behaviour, the journey through rescue, fear and anxiety in dogs, understanding and interpreting body language and behaviour, and animal welfare. It also provided a chance for professionals to delve deeply into issues that affect our animals and our work to help them.
LickiMat – makers of the enrichment food mat for pets – said it was delighted to be sponsoring the event and was available in a ‘break out chat room’ throughout the day to answer questions.
