The PATS trade show is on course for a record number of exhibitors this Autumn, as the event continues to attract both new and repeat bookings.
Natural dog treats supplier JR Pet Products has become the 260th business to book stand space at the three-day show, which takes place at Telford International Centre from Sunday, September 29 to Tuesday, October 1, 2024.
Sales director Becky Davies said: “We are eagerly counting down the days until PATS. It’s always an event we look forward to, offering a fantastic chance to reconnect with our loyal customers and introduce ourselves to new ones. The new three-day format is especially exciting, allowing us to engage with even more attendees and spend quality time discussing our passion for natural dog treats and chews. We’re thrilled to announce that we will have over 250 products with us to see, including some new and exciting ones.”
Other exhibitors already confirmed include Alpha/Vitalin, Catit, Bionic & Zeus, Copdock Mill, Hills Pet Nutrition, Kong, LickiMat, Orijen, Acana, Pedigree Wholesale, Scruffs and Trixie. With five months to go before the doors open, organisers expect the final figure to be well over 300.
First-time exhibitors include Mersey Raw. Founder Ben Mcintyre commented: “We are extremely excited to be exhibiting at PATS this year.
“It is something we have wanted to do for several years but haven’t been able to, due to operational demand. Having now increased our operational capacity we are excited to showcase our brand and products at the UK’s biggest pet trade show and welcome in some exciting new business and building some strong relationships.”
Another newcomer is Fell Dog, whose founder Carolyn Harker added: “We are thrilled to be located in the dedicated New Starter Zone, which helps to increase visibility for new businesses like ours. We believe a three-day event is the optimal time frame and will help maximise opportunity and allow more flexibility for visitors in retail.”
PATS 2024 will be taking over all of the exhibition space at Telford International Centre, with the addition of an Aquatics Zone, a dedicated area for aquatics and watergardening exhibitors, and a series of top groomers giving demonstrations, workshops and talks.
