Beaphar has launched a product to help make stools firmer in cats and dogs suffering from digestive disturbances.
Digestive disturbances can be caused by several things, including a diet switch, inappropriate eating habits, stress and travelling, the company says.
Beaphar IntestoPro contains natural active ingredients, including Zeolite, which thickens stools by absorbing excess moisture, and FOS and MOS, added prebiotics that support natural intestinal function.
“Many products designed to thicken stools in cats and dogs come in tablet form, which can be difficult for pet owners to administer,” said Dr Sue Huggett, business manager, Beaphar UK. “Our new Beaphar IntestoPro Paste is not only highly palatable, but comes in an easy-to-use, graduated syringe so pet owners can easily give their pet the correct amount. To support the launch of in-store, Beaphar has designed a range of point-of-sale, including posters and shelf barkers, to highlight the key USPs and to draw attention to the products on-shelf. Various digital assets, including banners for websites and social media, are also available on request for retailers to promote Beaphar IntestoPro Paste online.
