Yorkshire-based pet food manufacturer The Innocent Pet has launched its Christmas dog treat range, which is available now to retailers.
Founder Chloe Heaton said: “Christmas might be a little different this year, so it’s important that we’re able to show those closest to us how much we care for them – and that includes our hounds.”
Known for its award-winning Birthday Cake Mix, Chloe says she is delighted to present Innocent’s festive treats once more for Christmas 2020. There are two treat products for dogs – a grain-free DIY Christmas Cake Mix made with British turkey, and the Christmas Treat Collection, which contains two packs of festive-flavoured treats (venison & apple slices with turkey & cranberry triangles).

“By bringing back our popular Christmas Cake Mix, it’s a gift that offers something for everyone,” she said. “Adults and children can get involved together by baking the mix for their much-loved pets and adding their own tasty decorations.”
Innocent has noticed that web customers are shopping for Christmas earlier this year, as web analysis from September has included searches for Christmas products.
Marketing executive Charlotte Wright said: “We usually add Christmas products on to the website in mid-October but customers have been searching the website for our festive treats since the beginning of September. Our Christmas range has been live for the last three weeks and we’ve already seen a spike in Christmas purchases.”
Following a change in packaging across the Innocent range, both festive products are fully recyclable and have an RRP of £10 each.
The Innocent Pet is a family-run business, based in Thorp Arch, West Yorkshire, and run by managing director Chloe and her husband, Justin. The company was founded in 2013 and uses a bespoke air-drying system that takes up to seven days.
