Trixie has introduced a swathe of new pet products, including an insect-based dog treat, a range of slow feeding mats and a new bedding solution.
The company’s mono-protein Insect Sticks and Hearts are made from mealworms enriched with carbohydrate sources such as potatoes as well as carrots as a source of vitamins. The products are described as rich in unsaturated fatty acids, unprocessed and free of any additives, making them suitable for allergy sufferers. The snacks are supplied in 80g bags with an RRP of £3.49.
The new feeding mats, available in a number of colours and designs, slow down food intake and make feeding more interesting for pets, as well as helping to stave off acidification, flatulence and cramps. The mats have an RRP of £13.99.
Also new is Cave Harvey with Steps. The two-piece home accessory made of long-haired plush and velvet (polyester) and is easy to join together with a hook and loop fastener. The steps up to the bed are safe for pets up to 15 kg while offering additional storage space inside. The RRP is £139.90.
Finally, the Trixie Indoor Ramp with foldable steps is suitable for senior pets up to 70kg in weight to support them when climbing on a bed or sofa.
