Johnson’s Veterinary Products has expanded its health and wellbeing range with the launch of two new balms for dogs, cats and small animals.
Used for calming insect bites and maintaining healthy skin, the Soothing Skin Balm contains a range of natural ingredients with anti-bacterial properties, making it suitable for dogs, cats and small animals over 12 weeks old.
The second new product, Antiseptic Balm, is infused with English lavender and lemon blossom for a fresh scent.
The branding on the new balms carries a stylish retro design.
Paul Gwynn, managing director at Johnson’s Veterinary Products, said: “We received such positive feedback following on from the launch of the Paw & Nose Balm in 2023, and certainly recognised there was a customer want and need for wellbeing products that are natural, gentle and kind, smell and look great, and importantly, are affordable.
“As we enter into Spring and welcome the arrival of warmer weather, there will undoubtedly be more opportunities for our four-legged friends to venture outdoors and explore, whether that be through walks over the park or nosing around the garden.
“Unfortunately, there will also be an increased chance of insects and bugs latching onto their fur, which can lead to skin irritation via bites and scratches.
“Fortunately, these three balms will guarantee that pets are properly protected from any would-be pests, whilst maintaining healthy skin and fur throughout the Spring and Summer months.”
