Nova Dog Chews, part of The Nutriment Company, has expanded its product portfolio with two new products – Bone Broth and Sauce.
Bone Broth comes in four flavours – Moose, Duck, Chicken and Beef. Products are cooked for at least 12 hours to separate the fat from the bone collagen, meaning the broth has zero fat and only 9-12 calories per 100ml, depending on the flavour.
Bone Broth can be used to increase a pet’s fluid levels, especially on hot days, by pouring onto dry, wet or raw food or by freezing it to create a cooling treat.
Products are supplied in 230ml pouches with an RRP of £3.60 for Chicken and Beef, and £3.99 for Moose and Duck.
The Sauce also comes in 4 flavours – Duck, Lamb, Chicken and Beef. Each comes in a 100ml pouch and has 17-25 calories per 100ml depending on the flavour. The sauces have a collagen content of 1,600mg to 2,110mg per 100ml and can be used as a topper to spoil or increase a pet’s appetite, or as a healthy snack to add to homemade treats and lick mats. The RRP is £2.50.
Both products are 100% natural and are rich in collagen, chondroitin and glucosamine, which act to help lubricate and reduce inflammation in joints, promote glossy fur, soft skin and strong nails.
Joint managing director Antoon Murphy said: “We are very excited to launch our new Bone Broths and Sauces in time for the summer.
“The products offer significant health benefits and come in four tasty flavours – ideal for fussy eaters or dogs who don’t drink enough water.”
