Start-up pet products firm Hackney Dog House is opening up its range to the trade and is looking for new stockists in the UK.
The company started during the lockdown period and specialises in pumpkin products, prompted by the search for a solution for the co-founders’ cavapoo’s recurrent bouts of diarrhoea. Pumpkin is a natural prebiotic that supports stronger and healthier gut bacteria and contains nutrients including Vitamins C & E, alpha and beta carotenes, potassium, magnesium, and dietary fibre.
Pumpkin Purée Powder is made from 100% human grade pumpkin powder from the flesh of the pumpkin, designed as a convenient, longer-lasting alternative to canned pumpkin.
Each 225g pack is enough for 30 servings, RRP £17.95.
Also available is Pumpkin Powder enriched with Probiotics, designed for dogs with regular or persistent digestive problems. The 225g pack has an RRP of £18.95.
Both products are pet-approved and can be sprinkled directly onto food as a garnish or mixed with an equal quantity of water to create a purée.
