The Innocent Hound has launched its air-dried dog food in smaller, 1.5kg packs.
The new pack size is initially available in three varieties – British Lamb Casserole, Wild Salmon Fishcakes and British Beef Stew.
The recipes are grain-free, single protein and made with freshly prepared, raw British meat or MSC fish. The food is suitable for both adult dogs and puppies from eight weeks. The Innocent Hound’s air-dried food is made using a bespoke air-drying system. Raw ingredients are not exposed to heat above 40°C to maintain the nutrients and vitamins.
Innocent Hound founder Chloe Heaton commented: “The air-dried food category has seen a significant growth as its convenience and raw food similarities become more widely understood. The 1.5kg pack size caters better for small and toy breeds, and also works well for those looking for a short-term raw food substitute whilst they’re away from home with their dogs.”
The packaging is 100% recyclable and includes a resealable pouch to keep meals fresh for up to eight weeks once opened. The 1.5kg pack has an RRP of £23.
