Two of the products have been manufactured by Supreme on a private label basis for over 20 years but are now available under the Tiny Friends Farm range, which enjoys strong brand recognition among pet owners, explained marketing director Claire Hamblion.
She said: “Pet owners use Tiny Friends Farm as their main small pet food for its price, availability and quality, but mostly because their pets love the food.
“With an 83% positive buzz about the brand, expanding into the dog category is a natural progression. Small pet owners are ‘pet people’ and we are delighted to offer their canine companions the same exceptional quality and value that their small pets have enjoyed.”
She added: “We will be putting all our efforts in to making Tiny Friends Farm as successful in the dog category as it is in small pet.”
