Dog food brand Wagg has created a range of dessert-inspired treats, which will be available on a limited-edition basis.
The Great British Bakes Collection includes Carrot Cake, Vanilla Cheesecake and Apple Pie. The flavours were decided by a panel of shoppers.
Carrot Cake is made with oats, carrot, honey and cinnamon; Vanilla Cheesecake uses oats, yoghurt, whey powder, cheese, and natural vanilla flavour; and Apple Pie features oats, apple puree and cinnamon. The products are made using only natural flavourings with no added sugar, and are suitable for dogs aged 8 weeks or older.
The treats will be launched on September 23 for a limited time only. Agreed retail stockists include Pets at Home, Tesco and Poundland, while B&M will be the exclusive stockist of the Apple Pie variety.
The RRP is £1.29 per 100g pack.
