Ethical employment company Norfolk Industries is celebrating a run of success after winning two awards last month.
The company employs people with disabilities or who are in need of support to return to work and produces small animal treats and bedding using recycled materials.
Its Colour-In Small Animal House was a finalist at the Giftware Association’s Gift of the Year Awards 2020 at the Birmingham NEC on February 2, taking home a highly commended in the Pet Gift category.
The awards took place at the Spring Fair retail trade exhibition with entries reviewed by 40 judges, all buyers and influencers for the home and giftware industry.
As reported in the February issue of pbwnews, the company then went on to win the Small Animal and Bird Products Category at the PATS Sandown pet trade industry show, with its Nibble and Nest product.
Factory manager Sharon Tooke said: “To gain awards for these products from the judges on their merits to the pet sector is a dream come true.”
