The Pet Industry Federation (PIF) has named Bruce Casalis, founder of Bruce’s Doggy Day Care, as its new chair.
Casalis has been a director of PIF since 2018 and was appointed following a board meeting earlier this month. He will serve a two-year term in the position.
Casalis said: “I am excited to be taking on the chair role in PIF’s 75th year, and am looking forward to using my experience and passion to help the Federation grow and become an even more effective ambassador for the pet industry.”
PIF chief executive Nigel Baker added: “We are delighted to have secured someone of Bruce’s calibre to chair PIF. There are a lot of exciting developments in the pipeline for PIF members this year and we very much look forward to working with Bruce to help bring these to fruition.”
Founded more than 70 years ago, PIF has a membership of more than 2,000 organisations across the pet care sector.
