Wolverhampton-based independent pet retailer and wholesaler Hugglepets has made two new appointments as it embarks on an expanded range of operation.
After 17 years in the pet industry specialising in accessory design, Tom Gwilliam has joined the company as its new sales and marketing director.
Gwilliam joins as HugglePets is preparing to launch a new range of walking and grooming accessories for dogs.
He said: “I am looking forward to being part of the HugglePets team and helping to implement some really exciting growth plans. It’s a fantastic time to join such a dynamic business – the range of new products planned over the coming weeks is our largest launch to date and plenty more on the way.”
Also joining the company is new online marketplace and data supervisor Frances Marshall.
As well as considerable experience in both retail and e-commerce, Marshall has also spent 16 years in the pet trade specialising in aquatics and reptiles. She is a former breeder of reptiles, is OATA certified at the highest level, and completed a degree in Animal Husbandry.
Marshall said: “I’m really excited to be part of the HugglePets family and working on a whole host of new ideas and ranges – watch this space!”
