IQI Trusted Petfood Ingredients has appointed Arjan van Waes as its new sales director Europe.
Van Waes joins from food-grade ingredient supplier Sonac, where he established the business unit Sonac Functional Products, as well as substantial experience in the pet food industry with Vion Food.
In his new role, he will focus on growing the company’s business through consultative selling, aimed at both established and new customers in Europe, including life cycle assessments to help customers improve the carbon footprint of their products.
Van Waes said: “It is with a mix of excitement for the future and nostalgia that I have decided to leave Sonac Functional Products after 11 incredible years. I simply had to say ‘yes’ to this great opportunity that came my way.
