Eastern Europe-based pet food manufacturer Kormotech has appointed Ulyana Fitsa to lead brand sales in Western Europe.
Fitsa has been with Kormotech since its founding in 2003, where she started as an English translator. Her career progression includes roles as foreign economic activity manager and logistics manager, before becoming head of logistics in 2007. In 2013, she was appointed chief supply chain officer and is retaining that role in addition to the sales position.
In her expanded role, she will leverage her negotiation skills and industry experience to drive sales growth and build strategic partnerships with key distributors and retailers across Western Europe, with the aim of accelerating Kormotech’s international expansion.
The Western European sales function was previously led by Nazar Shchyrba, who will now focus on Kormotech’s sales in Latin America, the Baltics, Czechia, Poland, Hungary, and Slovakia, as well as private label partnerships.
Fitsa said: “I have three major goals ahead: to make pets in Western Europe happier and healthier by offering them the best Ukrainian-made product, to increase Kormotech’s brand awareness in the region, and to achieve results that drive the company toward its ultimate goal.”
Rostyslav Vovk, chairman of the board and co-owner of Kormotech Group of Companies, added: “Ulyana’s deep industry expertise and strategic leadership have played a crucial role in Kormotech’s growth, particularly through an extensive network of raw material suppliers and packaging manufacturers worldwide.
“We have been working together for 22 years, and I am glad that Kormotech can provide high-level professionals like Ulyana with new opportunities for development and the motivation to continue growing alongside the company.”
