Mars has announced that Najoh Tita-Reid, current chief marketing officer at Logitech, will join the company as chief brand & experience officer (CBExO) for the Petcare segment on November 20.
The newly-created role will see Tita-Reid lead Mars Petcare’s growth agenda and “help to create a seamless brand and consumer experience across the Mars Petcare portfolio of brands and services”. The move signals a continued focus on digitalisation and technology by Mars Petcare.
Tita-Reid has accrued leadership experience at companies across the technology, health care, pharmaceutical and consumer-packaged-goods sectors, including Bayer, Merck, GlobalHue, P&G and most recently Logitech. She was named in Campaign US’s CMO 50 list and Fortune’s List of Top 50 Entrepreneurial CMOs, and also co-founded the Black Executive CMO Alliance.
In her new role she will report to Leonid Sudakov, president growth, digital & platforms.
Tita-Reid said: “I am thrilled to join Mars Petcare at such a pivotal moment, to help lead the next phase of growth. It is a business I have long admired for its inspiring purpose, great people and amazing brands – and it has already proven that incumbents can innovate, transform, and grow. I’m looking forward to joining the team to help solve the everyday challenges facing pet owners.”
Sudakov added: “I’m delighted to welcome Najoh to the team. She is an exceptional marketer and globally recognized leader, known for building strong, diverse and inclusive teams.
“She will bring her broad and impressive experience across tech, health care and consumer goods to help us scale our impact and accelerate our digital transformation, allowing us to better meet the needs of pet owners and transform the experience of pet ownership.”
