Southampton retailer Healthy Pet Store has appointed its first operations manager to help manage the growth of the business as it seeks to expand into a second site.
Store manager Richard Wall has been promoted to the new position. As part of the head office team, he will be managing key departments such as purchasing, website management, logistics and warehousing.
Richard said: “I am absolutely delighted to be appointed as the new operations manager. I have been with Healthy Pet Store for five years and have watched the business go from strength to strength.
“From the smaller pet store that it was just two years ago to the business that it is today, I’m excited to be on this journey with Healthy Pet Store. I can’t wait to get stuck in and help lead the business on its next steps.”
Managing director Deborah Burrows added: “Richard has been appointed because of his outstanding ability, skills and experience. He is a dedicated member of the team and will be an asset when getting other stores off the ground with speed.
“We are still a young company and Richard understands the challenges that come with that. I know he is committed to improving our processes while supporting all members of staff, whether they are head office or shop floor staff.”
