A dog day care owner has joined the board of trade body The Pet Industry Federation.
Claire Hunter, managing director of Claire’s Comfy Canines in Burnham, has worked closely with PIF on some projects, including providing input into the dog day care guidance for the new DEFRA Animal Activities Licensing regulations.
Claire’s Comfy Canines has been a member of PIF for many years.
Claire said: “I am delighted at being accepted onto the board. This opportunity will mean I can further my work in the industry, raising standards in pet care and ensure that day-care businesses, a fast-growing sector within PIF membership, are represented on the PIF board.
“I have been made to feel very welcome and looking forward to working on future projects”.
