More than 2,100 exhibitors from 68 countries have taken part on this week’s Interzoo show in Nuremberg, Germany, making it the biggest version yet of the international trade exhibition.
An expected 40,000 trade visitors from more than 120 countries will have spent the week browsing 14 halls on a total display area of more than 140,000 square metres, viewing new lines at the Product Showcase, attending a series of English-language conferences or attending shorter talks on the “Fresh Ideas Stage” at the show.
A strong UK presence was on show at the British Pavilion, one of 15 zones dedicated to firms from major producer nations, with other UK brands and suppliers also located throughout the exhibition. Trade association PetQuip, which organises the British Pavilion, was presented with a special award at the opening of the show to recognise its “special association” with the trade fair.
Dr Rowena Arzt, director exhibitions at Interzoo organizer WZF GmbH, said: “A distinguishing feature of Interzoo is that so many companies present their new products at the world-leading fair.
“In this way, Interzoo offers trade visitors a unique worldwide opportunity to experience first-hand and in one place a fascinating array of new products and inspiring companies and gain exclusive market insights and sector-specific information.”
