Trade fair Interzoo 2024 has achieved a new record for international exhibitors, exhibition space and countries represented.
With 13 weeks still to go before the start of the event, the number of exhibitors has surpassed the 2,000 mark, exceeding the previous record of Interzoo 2018, confirms organiser WZF GmbH – Pet Industry Services.
Companies from 69 countries will be exhibiting their services and products for pets across a total of 14 exhibition halls in an exhibition area of more than 140,000 square metres at the Nuremberg Exhibition Centre, Germany. The event runs on May 7-10, 2024.
In addition to the product stands, Interzoo 2024 will also offer a supporting programme of short conferences, special shows and demonstrations.
During the four days of the trade fair, the Interzoo Country Sessions on countries and regions will provide insights into important growth markets, while the topic of sustainability will be discussed in a separate session.
Trends and innovations will be the focus of the Fresh Ideas Stage in Hall 3, which will see presentations on innovative products and companies before hosting the Fresh Idea Contest on the final day of the fair. On May 6 2024, the day before the show opens, the Petfood Forum Europe will focus on innovations in petfood and petfood technology.
Interzoo exhibition director Dr Rowena Arzt said: “Never before in the history of Interzoo did we register more than 2,000 exhibitors from almost 70 countries. This impressive record shows the need for the industry to come together.
“The high internationality among both visitors and exhibitors of Interzoo underlines the importance of international supply chains and global networking within the pet supplies industry. As a meeting place and source of inspiration for the industry, Interzoo is already showcasing and addressing the developments and trends of tomorrow.”
